The MT has been totally restyled and gets a fresh new look with minimalist bodywork and a stunning new headlight setup. Nobody does a soundtrack better than Yamaha and the new tank cover has specially designed acoustic ducts to let you hear the induction roar build with speed - a proper hair raising adrenaline rush!
Theres a refined new riding position setup and offers two-position adjustable lower bars, more space for rider movement and adjustable footpegs. Besides the styling rework this new bike features bags of additional tech over the previous generation! The dashboard has been upgraded to a beautiful 5" colour TFT display that features phone connectivity - cast SatNav to the screen via Garmin app, control your music messages and calls too. Adjustable rider modes include Sport, Street and Rain as well as 2 custom profiles you can setup via the dashboard or the Yamaha MyRide app. New switchgear on the handlebars offers an easier than ever joystick style control scheme. There's now self cancelling indicators, emergency stop signalling and also cruise control as standard.
The brilliant 3rd gen quickshifter has been taken from the Tracer 9 GT+ and allows for clutchless upshifts under closed throttle as well as down-shifts whilst accelerating! Switch gears at the touch of a button with the gear paddle and choose between auto and manual on the fly with the trigger button. The six-axis IMU keeps everything under control with lift control, slide control and traction control - this now features backslip regulation which controls engine torque when the backwheel slides under excessive braking. Adjustable suspension, brembo braking hardware and the latest Bridgestone S23 tyres seal the deal and make this MT-09 an unbeatable weapon!
